Recently my Xbox Live ran out and I was on the family plan with me and some friends.

I recently bought a 12 month of live and I cant redeem a code because my account is suspended. (Not even a silver account)

It says that my account has been suspended because of I have not updated my payment.

So anyone else have this problem and could they possibly help me and a couple of friends.

You need to put in a credit card or Paypal account on your account and it will be unsuspended.

This happened to me just contact microsoft and they will sort it out within a day or 2.

It could just be the fact that family plans no longer exist

No, you can, you just need to put a valid credit card on your account. You can delete it after.

You can still use the card pal.

I had a credit card on my acc which doesn't work anymore, it expired like a year ago and I haven't got anything?
So how much time do you have until you get suspended for not updating it?
