My favorite artist is Lindsey Stirling. As for an actual band, I have a several. Tantric, Icon For Hire, Rise Against, Evanescence, and Seether. I can't name just one, but these are five from my top ten.

i like asking Alexandrias new album but my all time favorite is escape the fate because i like how their music has progressed through time

Good taste! I enjoy Lindsey Stirling's music as well. It's very unique, she's a very talented Violinist.
To list a few other bands off the top of my head I'd say Bullet for my Valentine, Rise Against, All That Remains, The Offspring, Atreyu, Five Finger Death Punch, As I Lay Dying, Attack Attack!, Seether, Pendulum, ...
Many more, can't think of any others as of right now.
