Yes you use that. It's a TU11 .xex so it works. There's text on screen once you're infected so you know it worked.

but the game tells me its on 38.0.0 and I get this content error do I need a patched mp.xex as well?

So basicly this is how I do it:
Get the XP infect and go online with some friends, wait till I get host (ask friends to backout and rejoin till I get host), everyone goes to 50, I backout, then the next host etc. Then repeat. It sticks for everyone (even me!), however my game froze and kicked me back after a couple of games, and set back my rank to what it was when we started, is this what you mean that it wont stick for host? Or just bad luck?

The way I did it for my friends were to join kill yourself 6 times. Every host backs out, prestige, go to main menu come back and prestige. This way it sticks! But I don't know if this is old or whatever just the way I did it.

Got all my friends 15th and 9million cod points doing this.

Well when you kill yourself your cod points fxck up like crazy and eventually you can get them positive.
