Oh god how much I hope Ghosts gets rid of trickshotting. You would not believe how many games I have lost due to ignorant trickshotting kids.

Trickshotting really got hurt from Black Ops 1 and Modern Warfare 3. Black Ops 2 trickshotting is better but still doesn't feel the same back in the old days. More than likely trickshotting might die, let's see what Infinity Ward does. I hope they bring it back in a good way.

Every Call of Duty since Black Ops has affected trickshotting. Every game they modify little things that make it so that we have to get more technical about the method of a shot.

Things such as YY'ing, and equipment canceling.

EDIT: The user above me, Rojo, makes a good point w/ my example of Black Ops, and also MW3 which in my opinion was certainly a twist w/ trickshotting you had to be a lot more creative about what kind of shot to go for.

Honestly, I think trickshotting is already starting to die out. Most of my friends who I trickshotted with are now playing competitively (league play), which is what I do as well now.

This is coming from me and I trickshotted for 2+ years before finally giving up because of bad it became.

Hopefully. I'd much rather be hardscoped than trickshotted.
