Let's think about it. If time is "fake, or something we invented" and is based on how we perceive it why can't we control it? If you're in a traffic jam it's sooo slow. If you're dreading a deadline or having a great time it's going fast.
I think there has to be a way or a formula on how to control time for us!
If class is going slow and you want to be done there has to be a way to speed it up for you if it can change on how we perceive it...
Let me know your thoughts, is this a wacky idea or a legit thing?

We Cannot Control Time.
But if it's "Man Invented" there has to be a shortcut... Maybe.

Time travels at the same pace all the time.

time the unit e.g 'seconds' is man invented and the word "time", yes. but there's no stopping it, the sun will always come down and back up.

You find other ways to pass the time. The concept of time is always the same.. 60 minutes = 1 hour. It will always be that way but if you fill that time with something that interests your mind it will appear to go by faster.

Understood, but why does time go faster why does it go slower? The mind perceives it differently. I'm not saying speed up the sun or slow it down... I'm saying there has to be a way to speed it up temporarily (Time itself not planetary bodies)

As you describe it, no, we cannot control time.
However the idea of time appearing to go faster if you are enjoying yourself, or going slower if you are bored, is all down to cultural perception.
If you could manage to change your perception of your environment, in terms attempting to enjoy class, that would theoretically work.
But no, there is no formula for controlling time.
You are right that time as we perceive it is constructed by us, but that's only in the terms that we created a way of distinguishing lengths of time by creating things such as hours, minutes and seconds.
Read into Einstein's Theory of General Relativity, that explains phenomena that does occur in our Universe, such as time dilation.
(And for those who argue time dilation is only a theory, there is evidential proof of time dilation, and for things like GPS satellites, time dilation has to be taken into account)
