Alright there's a lot of confusion on how to get positive cod points if this helps please rep
I found out that in one lobby once becoming the prestige you wish kill yourself 22 times then back out rejoin and kill yourself 22 more times then play a normal tdm game to make it stick (must be host before backing out)

I had to kill myself 66 times and I got level 50, 2bill COD points. It takes between 22 - 110 deaths, depending on how much xp/level you start at.
