So I'm getting a desktop to help with my editing for faster and more efficient way to help.
I was thinking of getting an iMac, but I saw on a couple of editors like BakersTuts they use a Mac Book.
I want a desktop so what would be the best to get for fast and smooth performance
will rep!
Update; can spend 900 - 1500

900 and 1.5k will get you completely different builds.
Are you prepared to build your own? What programmes will you be using?

If I am honest dont get a mac they are pretty bad for the money. If I were you I would go with a high end i7 processor because that is your most important component. After that get a 1tb hard drive and a ssd and then you figure out the rest about what else you should consider important

For something like this, it may be in your best interest to contact r00t. He is great about coming up with good budget builds or high end builds that suit a user's needs.
