There's been some downer news in the news section recently so how about some good news?

Hooters is having free food on Mothers Day! Read below for more info and how to obtain your free food.

With their scantily-clad waitresses and focus on sports TV, Hooters restaurants aren't normally thought of as the place to bring your mother. This Mothers Day, however, the restaurant chain is encouraging moms to ditch the fancy restaurants for some free chicken wings.

Hooters this week announced that on Mothers Day 2013 mothers who bring their children to a Hooters can receive a free (up to $10) entree with the purchase of a drink. No coupon is needed, but each mom must be accompanied by one or more of her offspring, according to the Hooters website.

Kids of all ages are encouraged to invite their mothers to Hooters for special treatment on Mothers Day, said Dave Henninger, CMO of Hooters. The free entre deal is just one way for Hooters to show its appreciation for hard-working moms and to provide a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a delicious meal with the family.

This isnt the first time Hooters has offered a Mothers Day deal. For Mothers Day 2012 the restaurant offered moms 10 free boneless wings.

What is your opinion on this?

I think I'm down for some free wings on Mothers Day. ;)

I live in Virginia, so as you can imagine, we don't have a hooters down here.

We actually JUST got a Olive Garden. Wish I could get some free wings

My parents brought me there since I was 10, I don't see what's wrong. We went there for the food, not just the girls.

Could take advantage of this, i'll call up a few of my co-workers and bring them along, and of course they can bring their mothers.
