Ever heard of a community helping it's base.

As the other poster said, if you are working with a patch_mp.ff you will need to have TU6. Most mods for MW2 on TU7/TU8 will be in the form of a .dll - These files either the .dlls or fast files will go into the root of the MW2 game directory. Both will require a modified default_mp.xex to run. If you like to change patches for different TUs I would strongly recommend running on Freestyle Dash. It has an amazing Title Update manager. Makes life very simple. You can PM if you are unable to find these files. Good Luck.
