Hi everyone,

Just wondered if anyone could give me some help with my demon install on a trinity console, this is a non 4gb trinity, I also have CR3 Pro installed.

I installed CR3 Pro first and managed to get CPU key and managed to create an RGH image and flashed to stock nand to test glitching to RGH.

After some messing around with dips, I managed to get really good boot times.

My settings listed below:

Trinity console (Non 4GB)
CPU_RST wire around 10cm to 22 pad on QSB V2
Dips on CR3 Pro set to 4 & 5 ON - All others OFF
Used Pro Rater feature to see glitch cycles - Gives consistent boot within a max of around
3 cycles, and shows a pro rater score of 10.00

So next day, I decided to hook up and install my demon to be able to boot dual nand.

Installed it, checked all QSB points with a multimeter 2 - 3 times, and also checked all
wiring with multimeter.

Also triple checked all ribbon cables from demon and cr3 pro, and tried reading and writing to stock nand and demon nand.

Can read stock nand and write to stock nand just fine, however when writing to demon nand I always get 1 Bad block. I have tried bad block remapping with the advanced feature in JRunner, and also tried writing nand to demon without remapping. Either way it writes the nand to demon, however will not glitch to the RGH nand on the demon.

My console boots stock nand just fine.

I also checked reading and writing to demon nand prior to installing, to test it, and it worked fine.

Checked CR3 Pro green light is flashing every so many seconds, as if trying to glitch, but it never glitches into the RGH nand on the demon?

could anyone with experience of installing CR3 Pro with demon please give any advice and help, as I tried for over 12 hours yesterday, troubleshooting, reading all tuts and guides from TX forums to try and resolve this.

I can't even post on TX forums, because I can't create an account, because there is always a message that pops up saying the servers are overloaded or some BS.

So I can't even get the support needed, when I require it, considering this is there product I purchased from them?

Sorry for the long post, but as you can appreciate, I am really frustrated with all of this. There is not even an official guide to install both cr3 pro with demon or one that accompanies both pieces of hardware, I have looked everywhere.

Can you post pictures of the installation and solder points. I will admit that I have limited experience in this, but will help best I can. The initial report (which is only speculation) seems to point towards a cold solder. Some say they have had issues with the ribbon cables, and one VIP guy was having boot issues until he floated the GND connection on the AV port. If floating the ground helps, that would indicate that the GND post is getting gnd from somewhere else creating a ground differential. GNDS must be bonded for proper V/B+. Post some pics and I can open a post for you on the TX website. (They will always ask for install pics)

There was no need to create a new thread when your other thread is still on page 1.

There is a issue with the install of the demon and no pics to reference, as you said you get bad blocks when writing to the demon.
