Hey, So Recently I've been learning more and more about the Google App Engine. So I Thought, Why not make a little project. I Came up with a simple Image hosting website. All of the uploads are done with some Python scripts driven by the Google App Engine. I Used jQuery to handle the uploads too. All things that happen on the serverside are scripted in Python and some PHP. The Simple Design is made with the Twitter Bootstrap. I Works, But it's not yet online. (Couldn't find a good free Host to handle this). I Will get it online soon.
Well, some screenshots.
Simple, Clean and Super Fast. Any other features might be added later. For now it's like this.
It's not about how It looks, It's about the work behind it. That's why I Am releasing the Source code soon, So you guys can Check it out and work with it. Possibly even make it better
Site will be launched soon, I Think.
Source code will be released soon.
Cheers.

First one is the Site itself.
Second one is What you see when I Selected A File.
Third one is When it's uploading.
Fourth one is When it's done uploading (Delete Option)
Fifth one is when you can Preview it.
It's not the same.

Very nice
Just have a quick question though
Did you use any python framework? I mean like web.py or django?
And how would you go about hosting this? Would you do it of a dedicated server?
All in all, It's very nice
Just love the way you've uploaded your images though TinyPic, I assume your website isn't live yet

Actually, I Did not 'use' any Python when I was creating the Website itself. But on the server side it is almost all Python with little PHP. For making websites with Python I Suggest you look into Django. I used the Google App Engine to use the Python Scripts on the web.
Just a fun fact, The Speach search on Google is made with Python.
Send you a PM.
