Nope the only way to get microsoft points is to buy them.
You can get them quite cheap of some sites though.

You can actually get them through Bing.com just sign up and you can get credits to get points. Not very many only like 100-400.

There are ways but they take hours to get what would take 20 mins to just buy them, There is no way to get them for free just from downloading some program, The only thing that is going to happen is that someone is either going to keylog your computer or your going to waste money by downloading from some servey site

I'm not sure if it would work the way you can get free XBL which would be to buy them with a credit card on the account and then migrate the account. I know that works with Xbox Live because when you migrate the account it cancels the card payments the problem with doing it is Fraud so I honestly wouldn't recommend it, as someone already said, sign up to Bing.com.

I have earned 1600 Microsoft points in a month, just using a bot for bing everyday.

That's the easiest way. Ive been reset a few times because of the bot but nothing that hard to get back up. I should of made more points if I didnt get reset.

No you cannot get Xbox live or points for free because if somebody does hack their server, they will straight away find out and the person who did the hacking will get reported to the police. (THAT'S WHY NOBODY EVEN BOTHERS TRYING). The only way getting them free is by getting them as a gift from somebody or doing some kind of surveys which i have never done.

(SIMPLE if you cannot afford Microsoft points then, save up or get off your BUTT and get a decent job with a decent wage.)
