ReaperOfTheNight wrote Because the consoles are extremely outdated, and the specs on them aren't that amazing at this point. I mean with only 512mb of RAM, and a six core processor at 3.2 ghz, the system just isn't worth the money anymore. Not to mention that the GPU is terrible, I mean my laptops GPU outperforms the one in the PS3.

Specs of a console are completely different than the specs of a computer..

ShadowBoltDashie wrote I was at gamestop a few months ago and this person brought in a Nintendo DSi XL and it was brand new never opened(The person didn't want it) and gamestop gave them $15 for it when on the website it sells for about $120.

You should have sold your PS3 on Ebay or Craigslist you could have sold it for around $150-$200

That is actually a lie. I sold them a regular DS original one and got $25 for it.

Lol I agree with M60
I never trade in stuff anymore, I sold my ps3 online back in the day (the day after I bought it) and went to return the games (gta 4 and burnout paradise i believe) to gamestop. I could not return the games because they had been opened and played (fine) but I was told I could trade them in for credit. They offered me $2.33 total for both games. Never again haha

Never trade games or sell games to them, they are such a rip off.

eXerr wrote So I recently took my PS3 Slim, 320GB HD, with HDMI, Component cables, Controller, and USB charger to GameStop. They offered me $50.00 for everything. I have played my PS3 maybe 5 times, no scratches perfect condition. I checked GameStops website and they are selling the same exact model as mine it was even refurbished for $250.00? They are so cheap..

how much would you sell the ps3 for? I would be interested...for the right price..

Have you just found this out? You bring in a game, they offer you five bucks, then you check in a week later, and your game is being sold for 50 bucks.
That's why I use ebay to sell my stuff, but I mean that's business my friend.
