Oh, well if you intend to be gaming then it might be worth it. I've never really looked into one before so i don't know much about them.

Fan controllers are worth it for manually adjusting speeds of fans to balance up airflow with sound. Cheaper things to try would be if your mobo supports changing fan speeds in the BIOS or via Software like ASUS do!
