It's 2033, a new drug has been invented letting you live for ever
you don't have to take it but if you do, you do still have to keep aging.
Would you take it ?

In my opinion, i would only take it if I would stay the same age and live forever.
It would be interesting to see how everything develops.

I would not take it. Sorry but living forever or for an increased amount of time than your body should have would not be something I want. Now I'm not saying I want to die but I definitely don't want to live forever.

Yes, as long as there is a reverse drug that has the ability to kill you. I mean, I wouldn't want to be enslaved for eternity if a much more advanced and hostile race enslaved humanity.

To be honest, I really don't care to live now as it is, but I just continue to do it. To answer your question though, no. I would hate to lose those that I end up getting close with. There is only so much of that I would be able to take. I would also get bored of life in general if I lived forever. I would have to turn it down.

The thought of death is the best tool to avoid the trap of feeling you have something to loose. If you had eternal life you would have no motives and desire to take big descision and I can honestly there is a beauty in death. Without it there is no life. The anticipation of death stops one wasting their existence and living life through dogma. Having this constant reminder of death allows one to be proud of their accomplishments.

One can not be selfish enough to want eternal life and disregarding this it's more of a torture than a privilege, considering you'd watching your all friends and love ones die.

It's very hard to portray my interpretation here but if you can catch the notion of my reply that's good enough for me.

No.
Being immortal is a terrible idea.

You would be forced to watch the worlds downfall.
The world has an expiration date.

Sure, "space colonies etc etc"
But what if we don't have those in time?
