I just want to know why everyone hates Lebron James??? By hating the guy and refusing to watch him play, you guys are missing out on some amazing basketball. I mean yeah he left Cleveland for the Heat but it was for a good reason.

1. He didn't have anyone else on the Cavs to help him win a ring, the 2nd best player on the team was Mo Williams. Jordan had Pippen, Kobe had Shaq, Magic had Kareem.

2. I understand when everybody says it's not the fact that he left, it's about HOW he left, but the national televised event raised I believe a million dollars for his charity.
He also apologized and said it was a mistake, the way he went about it and if he could do it differently he would.

3. We're talking about a guy whose never been in the media for bad stuff, been with his fiance since they were in 10th grade and seems like a genuinely nice guy.

The fact of the matter is he needed help to win a ring nobody has ever done it alone. I'm pretty sure if there were any other good player who were willing to come to the Cavs and play with him he would have stayed. The owner of the Cavs Dan Gilbert never got anyone to come and play with Lebron, therefore he left. What was he suppose to do just keep going and never win a ring?

People always hate popular people because they think it's "cool". Lebron, Bieber, etc.

THANK YOU! This is what I have said since the LeBron hate has began. He's a basketball player, he wants to win and wants to win championships. Who doesn't?

I never seen a problem with him. So in all honesty I don't know.

You're right it's just weird, there are plenty of other athletes out there who have done far worse but nobody seems to come close to being hated so much by the general population.

People are afraid of the potential he has to become the Greatest of All Time in basketball. Which is a strong possibility considering all the records he has broke now.

DUDE that's EXACTLY what I think as well, everyone is afraid that he might surpass Jordan, but let's be honest even if Lebron won 7 or 8 rings everyone would still not acknowledge him to the degree of MJ. He's basically fighting a losing battle.

Yeah, until the stats prove otherwise. He will surpass him. It's basically his destiny it seems. I think he has every single skill able to be. The passing, scoring, rebounding, defense, and he's showing how he can be clutch in these last two playoff years. He's good. REAL GOOD.

I absolutely agree, I'm glad there's someone else who has the same viewpoint as me.

I've always thought this way. He deserves respect, he's earned it.
