Hi everyone,
I was wondering if someone who has experience of installing RGH, or specifically worked with using a CR3 pro, could possibly give me some advice on an Alt point on the CR3 Pro for the CPU_RST, as the pad has lifted on mine, due to trying a shielded cable on it.
I have checked around other forums and have seen discussions relating to lifted pads on the CR Rev C but not the CR3 Pro, as it is designed slightly different.
I know that it may be possible to trace to another point, but I can only see a trace coming from the right leg of the C10 resistor location, and cannot identify if this is used for CPU_RST or the resistor.
Is there any way to salvage this, and get it working with an Alternate point? There has to be another point, surely?
I cannot make an account on TX Forums either, as it constantly say's the servers are overloaded and cannot create an account at this time, this has been ongoing for weeks. I don't know how TX as a business can support it's customers, if there main support forum is not working correctly.
If anyone can please offer me any advice or support with this issue, then your time and effort will be truly appreciated.
Thank you

I have my multimeter set up to test points right now, on my Cr3 pro, however cannot find an Alt point for CPU_RST from pad D, because of the missing pad.
Could anyone who has a multimeter, who has the time, please kindly test for an Alt point from Pad D to another point on CR3 Pro please?
Your effort will be truly appreciated, as I have noticed there are a few small contact points, dotted around the board, next to components and pads, and figured, these may be Alt points?
Thanks

Well, I've had a good look at the CR3 pro board, and can't seem to establish a trace from the D Pad where the Blue wire CPU_RST is normally connected to.
So if anyone could please help me out here, by checking their CR3 Pro with a multimeter to establish a trace to an alternate point, I would truly appreciate this, as I just want to try and get this console glitched a.s.a.p
There is no other images I can find to show Alt points on a CR3 Pro circuit board. So I am a bit stuck at the moment on continuing with my RGH install.
So if anyone can please help me out a.s.a.p, all credit will be in your direction.
Many Thanks
