Well obviously you're connected to the Internet right now via your ISP.It's your settings that you've configured either on your gateway or internet settings/firewall.It's one of the three but you could always try pressing the reset button on the router(last resort).Just a question but you say you've chrome installed?Chrome is pretty smart and generally tells you what's causing the problem when you can't connect.tell me what it says when you try to open a website.

Use Google chrome. Firefox has alot of bugs
