The City of Atlantis.

In other words, their is a slight chance of extinct creatures from say, 1.5 billion years ago, that could be deep down in the ocean. For example, some people said they think Megalodon's still exist. I don't think that's true, but I do think there is some type of large squid, such as the Kraken that might live at the main bottom of the ocean.

I doubt they exist, but they're possible.

As for lifeforms in general, I think we've only scratched the surface and there could be some very scary things waiting to be discovered.

Megalodons... that would be scary.

As for my opinion, I just think it's the same as the Ocean we know today, maybe less life the further you go down though.

I doubt a Megalodon would exist at the bottom of the ocean, Sharks aren't like fish, they need fresh air so thats why they live closer to the top.

(This is just my opinion) But I believe God created the ocean so deep and space so long and wide so that humans never get "bored" and constantly have something to do. This way humans can spend more time on focusing on space and the ocean and the wonders it brings and we won't have to worry about if "God is real" because He shows us every day that He is.

But again, my opinion.
