I personally wouldn't recommend Alienware laptops. They have a lot a problems in my opinion. I know 3 people that have the M11x and the m14x and they both overheat and constantly blue screen. So i would have to say that this is not a good deal, unless you want to spend $300 on a machine that may overheat and crap out on you.

i personally have the alienware m14x r1 and i've got to say, if you're a noob with computers and you have one, you'll think its the shet! and it really is pretty decent, but its more showy than it is good. if you want a good laptop for your price, go with the lenovo y500. that thing is better than the alienware by sooo much.
lets just say that the cheapest lenovo gaming laptop, the lenovo Y400 (priced at 750$), is just as good as the 1300$ alienware m14x. check it out, here's a link: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
