I imagine there's nothing.

Space is expanding at a finite speed. Which means we'll never reach the edge of space.

maybe space bends so that if you keep going in one direction say left then you will eventually go around the bend and come out on the right side of space. maybe all of the suns and galaxys we see out there are just reflections from opposite sides. there is no way of really knowing until our species advances enough and we have the ability to go faster than light and maybe if possible time travel.

I think space just keeps going. We/earth could just be a little spec of nothing floating around in another persons world.

I'm not really sure this could be answered. Multiple theories exist but you would need some way to travel in a straight speed consistently.

For example, with no landmarks, what if we slightly turned thus not reaching the end? Or maybe some planets pull is greater then we expect and it spins us the direction we traveled from.

So many variables.

I feel like space goes on and on, and never ends. More particles and atoms to be discovered.

it's one of those questions that will never be answered or proven..... what would life be if everything had answers anyways ?

FDPhysco wrote We'll find out in the year 4013...its probably just another universe with other undiscovered planets..we'll never know.

I don't think we will, and also I don't think there will be another universe beyond the universe due to matter rapidly cooling and expanding (red and green light).

I think that we will never know, we'll never have the technology to discover.

Space is regarded by some as infinite. The truth is that we cannot, and probably never will, know how big the Universe actually is, because we cannot see the edge of the Universe, not because of how far away it is, but due to the fact that shortly after the Big Bang, the Universe expanded at a faster rate than the speed of light, and so the light from some of the further away areas in the Universe has simply not reached us yet.

However if the Universe was to stop expanding, and would so become a finite region, there would still be no end. Think of it like trying to get to the edge of the Earth, you cannot do it, after a long time, you will just end up in the place you started. The same goes for the Universe, due to the fact that it is made of a 4-Dimensional fabric (if Einstein is in fact right), and due to the overall shape of the Universe, as some believe it is almost donut shaped!
