I would rather deal with nukes than leave in fear that a Dragon might come through and eat me. lol. However having magic does sound cool.

You realize that living in a world of Fallout just for the military and the weapons and nukes and such is pretty much saying "I want to live in reality" the only difference would be the landscape is already blown to shreds in Fallout's world, and in reality its just waiting to happen.

OBVIOUSLY. You knew what i meant. Fallout's world is blown up and there mutation everywhere. Last time i checked, there aren't any super mutants that are running around with plasma rifles in "reality."

I dunno, there is a lot of weird crap in reality still waiting to be discovered. I watched this show recently where the guy discovered an unknown species of fish, huge creepy thing that could easily eat a person alone. It looked like some kind of weird mutant.

I think Skyrim would less scary if you live in Solitude or something. But i agree. But are sneaky in Fallout.

I would have to say Elder Scrolls without a doubt. All of you who said Fallout, have you even checked out a picture of what real radiation poisoning looks like? Or even the symptoms of minor raidiation sickness. I'll deal with the threat of dragons. If you say that the world would be real you have a chance of being anybody like a Breton or an Orc in Elder Scrolls, or with Fallout you could be a normal person or some monster of unknown orgin with tentacles and trees growing out of you. But hey to each there own.

For me, I prefer medieval stuff but in this case fallout is something way way different to me. It originally started with me hating fallout due to the grimy environment. But then I realized that it was awesome. I would for sure pick Fallout due to the more advanced technology and basically restart of the world.

Guns are in the real world too. And besides, it takes more skill to use swords and throwing knives then it does to use a gun. Ooo point and pull the trigger, lotta skill. With a throwing knife you need to account for the weight of the weapon, the movement of the opponent, the speed of the throw, and the angle to hole so the blade hits the target. With swords there is still more skill then guns, you need to be able to anticipate the actions of your opponent in order to block their attacks, need to be able to make your own attacks swiftly so your opponent can be caught off guard etc. But with guns its a mere motion of "Point at target, pull trigger, blam done."

I agree. It would be cool to use laser and plasma weapons!
