The current achievement system on Xbox 360 worked out but do you think Microsoft will carry on the system or completely discontinue it?

Personally I think that they should carry it on as it gave a sense of accomplishment when you got all the achievements for a game.

Not trying to be mean, But they already announced that pretty much, They are obviously going to keep it, along with transfering over your gamerscore

The gamerscore that you earned on X-Box 360 will transfer onto X-Box One.

They talk about it in the event. It's pretty much the same just with a few tweaks.

From what I remember I think it effects match making, but I could be wrong.

Yes there will most probably be some kind of achievement system but i expect it will be slightly different from the current one

Gamer score, achievements will be transferred over.

All gamer tags will be as well, XBOX ONE is not actually having that much of a change just the system and layout.

Although this is going to cause quite a commotion.

I'm sure I've heard that they are continuing the Achievement System. I used to love buying games just for achievements.
