well if you have a decent tv just plug your headset in there, thats what i do and i have turtle beach x31's

The image in the video is a bit hard to see. Here is a better view of it, but yes you'll have to buy new Xbox headsets.

i already bought a 100 dollar turtle beach headset so yeah i would be a little bit butt hurt if i had to spend more money on a headset when the one i have works perfectly, not everyone is rich like you i guess.

The Xbox One MUST be compatible with 3rd party headsets such as Turtle Beaches etc. because you do not stream the audio from the console itself. You plug in a USB for power then the green audio jack into your TVs headphone slot.

I can understand it not working with current official headsets, such as the wireless ones because the entire technology will have changed.

Sure but for voice chat and communication, you saw the input? They won't work.
