I'm really not that fussed. I only have a pair of Turtle Beach X11's which are pretty cheap and they work brilliantly. I really don't see the point in someone spending $300 on a headset.

Anyway, I bet you the headset manufacturers (TB, Astro etc) will create adapters.

Will no one sell a cable which is 2.5mm to this new cable, if so, some turtle beaches may work fine?

Well, I don't see why they you couldn't buy a new talk back cable. If its possible to do then turtle beach will sell them. And they are usually cheap.

Its just a possibility :eh:

People are so upset over the littlest things. I really don't care I'm still going with the Xbox One.

um maybe for you its a little thing. For me it's not. Why don't you get a $300 headset then find out the next xbox it wont work on and you have to buy a $500 console and another $300 headset. um yeah it is a big deal. It would not be a big deal like i said if i had cheap ass $60 turtle beach headset.

I'm thinking I'll just use my Astros for game audio (the Xbox One has an optical out port so you should be able to get game audio through Astro headsets), and then Skype on my PC to talk to my friends. I'm not spending another $250 on a new headset because Microsoft wants to be greedy.
