For the past few years I have had it open so I can iso mod and other things... Just recently My fan is going crazy and the noise is unbearable. I bought some Spray for dust to clean all the fans out and the motherboard and I also applied new heat sink to the gpu/cpu whatever they are... And yet the sound of my fans are still there... Can anyone help me?

lol, i see an error when you typed "For the past few years I have had it open so I can iso mod and other things" if it's been open for a couple of years, why dont you Dual nand your console, so you dont have to use iso's... and I'm guessing what you're doing is hotswapping the disc... am I wrong?

So I can fit another fan instead of the original fan that comes with the xbox?

SweetTealsGood wrote Get a 12v fan mod. Talismoon sells them and they are REALLY quiet! So with the fan fit where the original fan fits or would I have to solider it to the mother board?

You can do the 12 volt fan mod yourself, it's very easy, iv'e personally done it myself and all you need is a little electrical tape or even a little duck tape.. just YouTube it to find a tutorial.

Yea I would purchase the 12v fans. Another option would be to make sure the xbox is in a cool place and make sure its getting proper ventilation.
