I have:
Intel i5 3570k
Asrock extreme 4 z77
8gb ram
Corsair gs 800 watt
I also have the coolermaster cm690 ii advanced nvidia edition so I would like an nvidia card but if an amd card is much better than I will buy it. I will buy another in the future to sli/crossfire. Playing at 1080p. I will be playing battlefield 4 and other graphics intensive games.

780 came out today. There you go. Get that processor upgraded soon, or just wait for Haswell in the upcoming months.

Why would he need to upgrade the processor? It's crazy powerful for most peoples' needs.

780 costs 550 GBP, not 400.

If it's for a single monitor setup, this is a great card (it is for multiple monitor setup as well)

However, I would wait until AMD comes out with their response to the 780. It'll most likely be a very high end card for less money.

On the graphics card, I'll suggest what I'm look at myself, which is the GTX 660 Ti


The 660 Ti is not a good option any more. The 192 Bit memory bus means that you're going to be restricted by the bandwidth of the memory - something you don't get with the competitor AMD cards. With newer games, you need as much bandwidth as possible.
