if you Hot swap once and you have installed it can you close your xbox?

Once the game is installed and it works you can put your xbox back together.

You only need to hotswap once and if the game installs correctly you wont have to do it again. If you delete the installed game from your harddrive you'll need to hotswap again.

Once the game has successfully installed you can close your console back up if you wish, If you're planing on making more discs i suggest leaving your console open.

another quick question have you got to hot swap right away or have got to wait till it gets to 1 percent ?

Do it right after you hit install before 1% don't rush the hot swap either but don't go too slow when doing so.
