Hello, I feel like I should mention that I probably won't be extremely active on this forum as I am a committed member of another one, I'm just looking to branch out my experience on the internet.

About Me:

My name is Shruk. I'm 14 years old and I live in Washington State. I have a lot of interests that I've been pursuing since a young age. They range from extremely easy things to things that require a lot of work on my part.

I've always been interested in coding and making video games, who hasn't? Most of those people realize how much work is needed to actually do that and end up finding a different profession. I, on the other hand, love how much work is needed to do such things. Coding allows me to express my feelings through something that people can enjoy. Much like people who write songs put themselves into their songs, I put myself into my code.

Something that I dabble in every now and then is making graphics. I'm definitely not the best out there, but I can do enough to make a decent looking picture in Photoshop. Like I mentioned above I've always loved coding games, being able to make graphics for them is much easier than paying someone else to when the game might not even be successful. I'm also okay at modifying images in Photoshop rather than just making completely new ones. I use this skill for one of my Tumblr blogs which I'll link to in the bottom of my thread.

Another thing I like doing is making money online. I'm able to make a few dollars by using a few websites that most people have heard of, which is nice for me because I don't have to ask my parents to buy me small things, I can just do it myself. One unfortunate thing about the whole making money process is that you need to find new ways to make money. Sometimes that can lead to getting scammed, while other times you can make a ton! I've personally been scammed once. It was a nice website that actually payed me three times then the owner disabled my account and told me to upgrade if I wanted to use it again. I tried negotiating but he hasn't reinstated the account yet. I'm currently in the process of trying to get that money back but I'm not sure it will go through.

One of my other interests is computers in general. I love the concept of computers and the internet. Being able to connect to almost anyone from all the way across the world is simply fascinating to me! While a lot of good comes from computers there are those people take advantage of them and the internet a much more dangerous place for unsuspecting people who don't know any better. I know some basic things about computers, like how to replace ram, processors, and graphics cards. I don't know how to build my own computer just yet but I plan on learning some time in the future. Speaking of computers, I have around $500 saved up upgrade the one I currently have. It's a nice computer, but it could be better seeing as how I still have Windows Vista.

The last thing I'll put here is acting. Not like being in huge budget movies, T.V. shows or anything like that. Just being in some nice plays with friends! I've been in 3 Shakespeare plays and some other random plays I can't remember. The Shakespeare plays have been with a group of really nice people. The first play I did I got a minor role just like you'd suspect. The next one I acted in I was given fairly important and funny role. The most recent one I've done is the first time I've ever been the lead in a play. It was extremely fun! I had a hard time learning all my because I was in almost every scene of the play! Once it was all said and done it turned of magnificent just like everyone thought it would! I've been given many compliments on acting and am going to do it again this year.

What I've Heard About This Website:

I've heard this forum is a great place to be! Many of my friends have accounts here and love it! I can't see any reason why I wouldn't feel that same way. I know that there will be people who I don't like, just as on any site I've registered at, but I won't let them get me down! I've never been affected by bullying and I definitely won't let it start to get to me on the internet.

Expectations:

I expect to become a great part of this community and learn things that I can't from other places. I'm sure that with the help of all the nice members out there I can become what I want to be in my life!
