COD 4 reset problem pls help

I got reset yesturday back to rank 1 first prestige, but when I rank up and turn Xbox off, I re start cod 4 and I have to start from level 1 again, but my score says 2hr 3mins level 20. Can this be fixed so it saves my level each time I turn game off and back on?

When infinity ward derank you, you get reset and all of your guns get set to M9s
This sounds like a dodgy lobby, somtimes when patches like that are used you have to get into the same lobby and get ranked up with the same patch that deranked you
