I think you may be missing the point that people buy a games console for games, not for television, and so far that's all that they've given gamers. With all the new used game trash there is literally NO reason to not buy a PC for gaming.

People are going to complain until they get what they want.

People are walking contradictions. They will complain about everything but will end up using it. While using the XBOX ONE, they will complain about every single thing but they are still going to say that the XBOX ONE is best thing.

people need to understand that the way it looks will not change how it runs, or that just because it can use TV doesnt mean you can play games.

People are just judging the way it looks. Personally, I like the look of it not just internally but the exterior of the console.

People need to learn that just because it may not look up to standard on the outside to them, doesn't mean that the actual way the console works won't satisfy their needs.

if we are going by your statement, then WHY in pretty much ALL ps3 vs Xbox 360 topics was it CONSTANTLY thrown at xbox users "well the ps3 plays blue ray" "well the ps3 has internet browsing (before 360 did)" if they are buying "games console" why were 2 things thrown as the "reasons to get a ps3 instead of xbox" nothing at all to do with gaming.

ill tell you now, while people disagree the xbox 360 IS a much better gaming console for online play, I DO NOT CARE if you say it isnt, i own both the xbox 360 and ps3 and i have virgin media 100MB internet which i typically receive around 93MB wired, when playing COD/BF3 on both consoles it is MUCH MUCH better on the 360, theres less lag, voice is much smoother and its an overall better gaming experience, that being said you PAY for XBL and PSN is free, so you get what you pay for.

PS3 has better exclusive single player games like inFAMOUS and god of war, the xbox exclusives like Halo and Gears of War, are bought more for their MP than SP, sure the campaigs are cool but only last around 2-3 hours and its the MP that keeps them alive.

I believe that this will carry on into the next gen, MS has paid soo much money into getting servers for the new Xbox one, i think the figure was 300,000 servers or something like that, aswell as putting forward 1 billion USD into its games.

i believe the consoles will be very evenly matched as are the xbox 360 and ps3, but i think the Xbox one will outshine the ps4 just like the 360 did the ps3.

then you can look at how many times sony were hacked and PSN was taken offline/peoples info stolen. Ever happen to XBL ? ummmm nope.

You also have the people saying "ps4 hardware is better" no it isnt. we still dont know the exact specifics of the xbox one, and you should look at it this way.

Sony are going around like "yeah we have this" and "its amazing we have that"
MS are more like "yes we have this, but were not releasing any more info yet" and you have to wonder why? i think its because they are not worried about sony being competition, MS have been the leaders in the gaming industry for the last what 10 years+ so i dont think they would let it slide now.
