I'll be using this build for gaming and some minor video editing. It mentions below about a compatibility issue, but I had no compatibility issues while picking the parts. I don't really want to spend any more than this but if there are any upgrades that wouldn't cost that much more then please let me know.

All its saying with compatibility is that the mobo can take USB 3.0 but the case doesn't offer it, dont worry. Was there any reason for going for an APU? I've been saying this a lot recently, and its that if you went for an older Phenom (AM3, will work in AM3+ boards) it is a lot less and performs as good, or slightly less as the APU. Also i wouldn't get that liquid cooler, its overpriced for its performance and once again i'd say a CM Hyper 212 EVO or its Enermax equivalent which is less than 30 pounds so more money saved.

Also the GPU can be run off a 500w PSU or a quality 450w one, and the money you save could be put towards more ram or a better GPU, both of which will help an editor.

I'd suggest something like this

Plainly put, this build rips apart what you put together.

Damn those prices have come down since i last looked! But yeah this is pretty much AMD's flagship model right now.

EDIT: No PSU add an XFX 450w and you're good to go.

I like that build, but I would go with windows 7, it's better for gaming

Get two sticks of RAM instead of the one you have selected, it will perform quicker.

I don't think it's actually that much faster, just more bandwidth and takes the strain off the IMC
