I have come across a little extra cash and have decided to spend it on a new monitor.
I don't really know much about monitors for gaming but im looking for a monitor that can reach 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 that is 20+ inches.
My budget is between 100-200 pounds
Any recommendations would be appreciated

Here's a Monitor that's pretty good. I own one I use it as my second monitor. It also fits into your requirements.

Looks good but I couldn't see anything on the response time. Do you know what it is ??
