i want to be able to play minecraft on my computer but my laptop isnt exactly the best. you have any tips to clear space and improve my fps? i am using linux operating sysem

My old laptop was running a pentium core 2 duo t4200 with integrated g45 graphics. When I tried to run minecraft normally, with all the settings as low as they would go, I was barely getting 20fps most of the time.
A nice mod I used is [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . It lets you edit most of the graphical settings in the game. You can turn them all down, and if you have a cpu with more than one core, enable multi-core rendering.
