Alright, so I got an old Dell computer from my girlfriend, and I cleaned it all out. Next, I wiped the hard drive using DBAN. I'm trying to reinstall windows 7, but it says "Strike F1 key to retry boot, F2 to run the setup utility" I tried both windows 7 and vista 32 bit disks, nothing is working. It keeps giving me the error. Please help me out! Everyone else charges for help, TTG has got to help.

Mines use to do the same thing.

I just Kept restarting it till it worked

Did you wipe your hard drive before hand? How long did it take?

1. Power on pc
2. Boot from USB/Disc or whatever you have win 7 on
3. format your hdd fully using the win7 disc
4. wait for install to finish
5. Install Drivers etc..
6. Done!

Note: Check the specs of the pc are good enough to run windows 7

Sounds like the computer is not trying the CD/DVD ROM as a boot device go into the setup and look for the option boot order/priority (something like that) and set it to
first CD/DVD
second HDD

You need to change the boot device to the CD drive. If that doesn't work try clearing all other possible boot locations from your list in the BIOS, this way the only choice is the CD drive.

Change boot drive to whatever you are installing from in BIOS. Good luck
