People here are saying it's impossible but it's not, it's 100% possible that Earth is the only planet that can sustain life, it's improbable but still possible. I however, do not believe we are the only planet with living creatures. Antares is the biggest start that we know of and is around 512 million times the size of our Sun, our sun is around 100 times bigger than Earth. Yet we can hardly, if even see the star Antares so that just gives you an idea of how big space is. Surely, there must be another planet out there somewhere with life.

No, a moon off of jupiter has been spotted with some micro-bacteria. i think in millions of years something could happen.

Our universe is SO big, its likely that you'd find your twin on another planet....

Poor wrote do i belive there is life ? yes such as living bacteria maybe insects and such but people like you and i, little green things with big eyes i don't belive so i think that we are the most advanced and the only "civilized" civilization but who knows don't you think even if we haven't found them they would find us ?

why do you believe we are the most advanced? The universe is older than anyone knows, trillions x trillions of years old, its entirely possible that there is life so advanced that it dates back millions if not billions of years. obviously the lifeform would have evolved massively over that time span but still its more than possible.

I watched a documentary with steven Hawking and he says that in order for life to visit other planets there would most likley be a "reason" for doing so. now you have to ponder a question.

If we as advanced as we are now suddenly had a breakthrough with Faster than light travel or Wormholes, and we managed to travel ro other galaxies and universes, lets say we found a planet that wasnt far and had a suitable enviroment for us to live on. obviously there would be viruses and diseases that we would have no immunities too but we just use respirators like in Avatar.

On this planet much like avatar there is a massive abundance of natural oil and other fossil fuels.

but the indigenous life is pretty much primative in terms of how our primates are.

We wouldnt think twice about killing the wildlife and taking what we need.

If aliens were to visit earth, the most popular reason being maybe their home planet doesnt have enough resources to sustain its self. if they are SO far advanced letssay their civilization has been around 200,000 years and i believe the Sumerians were one of the first Civilizations on our planet which is around 4500 - 4000 BC. which only dates back 6000 years. so a Civilization thats 194,000 years more advanced than us would more than likley call out Primitive ways, no more advanced than that we call Primates.

And as such there would be nothing stopping them and annihilating us for our resources, one would have to hope that a race so advanced would have found a way to exist peacefully, seeing as how typically on earth the average civilization is supposed to last 2000 years before breaking down and destroying its self, because of wars, over population cataclysmic events etc.

If a race had found a way to do this they it may be possible they would come here just to explore as we are doing and could want to just help us advance our technology.

With the infinitely expanding universe, it would be extremely stupid to think that to be honest. There are planets with similar atmospheres and composition as ours so why not others? Beings adapt to their living areas as well.

Yes there is other life form on other planets. I'm not talking about Aliens but just Bugs/Monsters/Plants in general.

Cyimking wrote Of course not. I have a theory that there are an infinity amount of universes, but each universe have a different outcome.Example, one universe is 2 seconds faster than ours. Which mean time traveling would be possible. But i have no evidence to prove that.

To your question, no. Each galaxy have their life forms. There are just different from ours. (Living conditions, looks, etc...) I believe that NASA had discovered some planets that shared similar characteristics as Earth. However, they predict that those planets would either be extremely rocky or filled with water (VERY DEEP OCEANS). So of course it will be life on those planets, but they won't be looking like us!

Those planets were in the Kepler System!

I'm pretty family guy has an episode which pretty much explains this:/
