My opinion is that I feel like the Xbox One will be completely out shined by the PS4. I feel like the PS4 will be much more compatible with certain things. And not to mention that you will still be able to play PS3 games on the PS4. I have both a PS4 and Xbox 360. So don't think i'm some PlayStation fan boy. Please no console wars, I just want a simple opinion.

One thing is wrong, PS4 will NOT be backwards compatible, source below.
Sonys Masayasu Ito added that while backward compatibility is undoubtedly important, it would have required the company to include the PS3s cumbersome CELL chip inside the next generation console, which could have led to manufacturing headaches down the line. We can freely manufacture CELL if the decision is made that its needed, he explained. However, thats not the case with supporting hardware. There are parts that will become difficult to obtain.
Ito added that the company thought long and hard about the decision to not include backward compatibility, but ultimately opted to make a clean break. Using this opportunity, we decided to stop going down this path, and, as Mark said, to focus our efforts on simplifying developer efforts, he concluded. The advantages of such an approach are plentiful

I will be getting a PS4 maybe the Xbox One when i actually see what its like (Money wise)

Ill be getting the Xbox One regardless of whatever the PS4 can do; unless it can physically make me a cup of tea when I want one; to used to MS no point changing to something foreign

Not for me, I was hoping theyd focus on the gaming side, and I figured at worst they would try to make it a more social experience, similar to what sony did with the ps4... However they did worse, and made it an all in one entertainment center instead of focusing on gaming. Not planning to buy it anymore.

Actually, the PS4 will be able to play PS1, PS2, and PS3 games. Not the discs, but through downloads.

obviously the xbox one will be able to play games from xbox and xbox 360 through downloads as well
go back to the ps4 forum
the xbox 360 already has games that are from the original xbox by downloads so there going to have the same on xbox one

From what I've read about the XBOX ONE, it sounds poo! I am a big Xbox lover and never thought about moving to PlayStation but having to be connected to the internet once every 24 hours and not being able to sell games like normal is just crazy...
