Odds are you just bought your JTAG so you could host lobbies. I guess that's the only for them now...

You can't host a menu online unless you are on a private server like XBLS or XBLH (which is currently down)

After you get on their servers you need a KV to host online and odds are if you just bought this Xbox, it still has an unbanned KV on it.
