I'd probably get out of the city, and go maybe to my cousins house in the mountains. Its secluded and they have a lot of firearms for hunting up there that could be a pretty good just keeping us safe for the time being.

I would honestly do one bad thing and be done for the day.

But considering the White House is already under serious security, I would imagine anything within 2 miles of it is dead during the purge.

The only somewhat safe way is to just ride it out. Sure, firearms and ammo help, but it only takes a single bullet. Guessing from what I see on the TV, it looks like some horror movie, although I suspect it isn't entirely.

Urban areas would be hell. Rural areas are more defendable.. if they're isn't anything to hide behind. Also, I would assume the cleanup costs would be massive if somebody decided to go a step further, and use explosives.
