Well planning on buying a low end model for the kids so they can play a few games at 60fps on high

Well it appears to have a decent Graphics card. So the answer is yes it is a decent laptop for gaming and should reach 60ps on high on most games. But you havent told us the exact model of the CPU just that it is Intel 3rd generation.
And out of interest, how much are you paying for this laptop ? and who is the manufacture ?
We don't want you getting ripped of now do we ?
