To be entirely truthful, I'm buying it, but it sure as hell will not be my primary way of gaming. Neither will the PS4 be my primary gaming console. My PC will always be the one i use most, and even though i disagree with you saying people who are buying it are gonna have a bad time and stuff, I do agree that Microsoft are making a big mistake with the Xbox One making you NEED an online connection, as I have plenty of friends who live in places that high-speed broadband still isn't available, and there are millions more in that situation.

Ill almost definately go to PS4, Simply because sometimes I dont want to be online? why force people to go online? that sucks. I take my console to my Nan's house where there is no internet when I stay there and just play racing games or whatever.

I agree with you completely, but I just want to point out that you don't always have to be online, you just have to be connected.
I don't see why, but there's nothing we can do about it, and I'm sure there is a reasonable explaination as to why, but as for now, all we can do is wait, really.

If I don't like the info released from Microsoft about the new console, then I'm pretty sure I won't like the new console. If I was a "PS3 Fanboy", I would've bought a PS3.
