A .CFG file stands for "Configuration" and it's just a custom patch that you can put on your USB that can allow you to host modded lobbies. (If you get the infection from someone)

If you get a CFG infection from someone, you can be able to host Challenge Lobbies.But first you will need to download a Custom CFG, then put it on a USB, and then finally, put it in your RIGHT USB slot.

CFG is what you can edit into the game that the game already has, instead of GSC where old challenge lobbies used to be GSC, they're patched now.

What people commonly say CFG with is a USB infect mod menu. I don't believe in them anymore, they're ruining the game. They're really easy to get. Type in 'CFG USB Mod Menu' on YouTube & get a file called buttons_default.cfg & put it onto the USB & find someone to give you a CFG infection. You can also infect people with it.
