EDIT: This is not fake! To all of you who believe so, check out the link provided in the bottom left corner of the picture which links directly to their website. It is simply compiled into this picture for easier viewing. Here's the link if you were wondering, copy and paste it and look for yourself: news.xbox.com/2013/06/main

Additional notes: To those of you saying "I have internet, this won't affect me". Maybe, but you have no idea how anti-consumer this is. If you go to a hotel on vacation or someone's house in the country etc. with no Wi-Fi you won't be able to play anything, not even single player campaign. And worse our military on leave at sea, on naval ships, or many in Afghanistan won't be able to play any games with their buddies to blow off steam because there likely won't be an internet connection available for 4-5 months.

Hey dumbsh*t about the Afghanistan one, if you didn't know you can get internet while in the military you f*cking idiot they offer it to all of our soilders, apparently you spend to much time inside playing you sony console.

I know I am going to get hate from all the sony fanboys but I dont really see a problem with this. The online part is not a big deal because if you use the xbox for gaming and watching tv then you will easily connect online once a day. Everybody complaining that kinect is always watching you is a fool. You do realize that you can easily turn it around, stick it in a drawer or just put a tissue over the camera. As for trading in and renting games, who really rents games anymore and what a shame that you have to pay an extra 5 dollars for a game and guess what, it is brand new. Selling games is a joke, if you sell a game to gamestop, you are lucky if you make 15 dollars off a recently released game. You would be better off selling it to a friend or giving it away as a gift. The arguement that they have to be on your friends list for 30 days is silly because I guarantee that you have like what one friend that you have not been friends with for 30 days. To all the sony fanboys you do realize that game analysts have said that they expect sony to have near identical policies as the xbox right. Granted this is only rumor but how about you get used to the idea of all of this so you wont be disappointed when your beloved sony does the same damn thing.

Haha, stop trying to call me out on crap you don't know, I have a brother serving over seas. "All" soldiers may have internet access for a little bit to contact family or something but it's not common. Some bases have internet cafes but soldiers pay around $10 an hour to use them, and have to wait in line. Also, a lot of the bases have internet access for computers available, but not wireless. And lastly, a few places allow wireless in their living quarters, but it's around $100 a month.

You're not really making good points. You're saying it like Xbox One is the ONLY game system. 1.If you're on vacation and at a hotel honestly Xbox should be the last thing you should be thinking of. 2.Going to someones house in the counrty. Again, Xbox isn't the only system. Take a different one. Same for the military.

Hey dipsh*t its cool your brothers in the military, but remember what you said "many in Afghanistan won't be able to play any games with their buddies to blow off steam because there likely won't be an internet connection available for 4-5 months." THEY WONT BE ABLE TO PLAY ANY GAMES! next im in Senior rotc, i have 2 instructors both did 25 years in the military. My companies platoon leader for alpha asked how often did they have internet connection of access to the internet. he said if you not in a combat situatuion, On a base, you will have internet connection majority of the time. he also said some places have a small fee but he said alot of time you will have access, he said theres only a select few bases that have internet that have a ard time recieving it but other than that you more than likely will have it. next there training most of the time but when there not training, there usually in an area that can. Ok so its cool you know some but its a disappointment you dont know enough. almost everyday im surronded by active military, retired NCO's Retired Officers, active officers, even recruiters tell me you will have internet access alot. Trust me im smarter than you think.

Lol this is hilarious. On this page (news.xbox.com/2013/06/license) they even say

Share access to your games with everyone inside your home: Your friends and family, your guests and acquaintances get unlimited access to all of your games. Anyone can play your games on your console--regardless of whether you are logged in or their relationship to you

Wow if they are listing this as a feature than you know this shit is messed up.

Just because they are coming out with the new console the old one wont be outdated. Plus when does the military have time to get new consoles for there men?

I'll be getting the new xbox, and if I don't like it, guess what? I have my 360, stop bitching. Go ahead and go to PS3, less little kids I have to hear on CoD.
