How many of you think that they will kill him off? Like how many of you think that Riley will die?
In every Call of Duty game someone close to you dies.
I think Riley will be killed.
I want to know what you think.

Definitely. One of the employees at IW said they wanted to make the game feel very emotional to the players, what better way to kill off a dog that was with you from the start. People reacted when Ghost died and started a whole Ghost fanbase off of it, so I'm sure they're going for this again with the dog. When I first saw the dog in the reveal I mentioned that he will more and likely be killed somewhere in the story.

It could be Riley who dies or maybe even his brother.

As soon as I realized there was a dog in the campaign, I figured he was going to die. Thinking about it though, there also could be a chance that he is one of the last survivors of your group. It's going to be interesting to see what they do with him.

I guarantee that Riley will remain "alive". The game may kill him in some way, but of course they have to leave valuable characters for a sequel. Also, he may die but be replaced with a similar dog keeping Rileys spirit alive.

Oh yeah, of course Riley will die! They mentioned how you will supposedly be emotionally connected/attached to the characters, and that the game itself may 'pull on the heart strings' etc. And what better way is there to do that than to kill a dog that you were close with from the start of the campaign?
Also, slightly off-topic, but one of my best friends has a dog called Riley!
