I say crippling economy when I think of previous actions that have been done and its concerning because Obama himself said in a speech back in December saying that the US needs to "keep taxing the rich." That's where I'm concerned. I live in a semi wealthy neighborhood and my dad is in executive search which means he does jobs for google and yahoo and crap like that. This is the bad part though; he gets taxed on his income every year at about a minimum of $500k and he is usually always upset on that day. But I mean Obama has said he will do so many things but hasn't done any of those things. He has made the unemployment rate even lower and another thing is that he hasn't ever shut down Guantanamo bay prison so.

Obama has a lot to get done that he hasn't even started. Nuff said

With the recent NSA scandals going on, it's a good thing that the media is covering it.

As for the phone records and this PRISM program, I agree with you. I know it's been happening for years, but that is all more the reason to be concerned at to get it out. The government is basically searching you without a warrant. That's terrifying, especially considering what the NDA is. At this point, we can only hope for more whistleblowers and more justice. Forget "oaths." Keeping the liberties and freedom of the people is the main priority.
