Warning: Stupid Question Ahead

I'm planning on buying this sexy beast, and there is an option to add an OS to the PC for more money (of course)

Your telling me, that I HAVE to add another $104 for the OS?
That if i don't, they send this nice computer with out an OS?
Doesn't it like have a "default" OS like windows 7?

I personally would recommend Windows 8. Yes, it was bad at first, but they patched most of the bugs with it!

And if you don't choose one then it will come with a formatted hard drive. So you would have to load an os from a disc.

Another quick question

Does the Bit matter?

32 or 64 bit?

(is there a better bit?)

Just to clear up what others have said...if you don't add an OS on the order, no problem buy your own and put the disc into the PC to install. Its easy.

Secondly, 64-bit for anything with more than 4Gb of RAM. 32-bit installations only use 3.5Gb of the available RAM.

If you don't order the machine with an OS, it will not come with one. It will boot into the BIOS and that's it.

You'll need to then acquire one. Whether it's Linux, 7 or 8.

I use 8 because with a few tweaks, it's 7 on steroids (not advertising the use of drugs here).

i always order my systems with out a OS its cheaper, and it takes all of a few clicks to setup a usb or dvd of your own Choice of OS to install with for either free or a fraction of the cost of buying it with it preinstalled from the manufacture, i would go with a 64bit OS if you have the option you can still run x86 software or use 32bit compatibility on either Windows or Linux.
