Yeah, things like this happen on a number of occasions with the mannequins, not only with the mannequins but also sometimes with the display cases, plates.

One time I put one of my best swords on a Display plate, I then noticed it disappeared. The best thing in this situation is to switch back to an earlier save, if you cant go back to a save where you have it then just go back and get it.

well is there anyway to get it back without going to an earlier save? usually just overwrite existing data so i dont think i can go back and get it.. killed the priest i get it off of but he doesnt have it again eiter, checked all the mannequins, chests, etc. etc., still nothng...

Might have clipped through the wall, so unless you can somehow noclip.

Did you go back to an earlier save and then kill him? or did you just go back to where you killed him and killed another dragon priest?
