3 reasons.

1. $100 cheaper (even though the 360 was $200 cheaper than the PS3 and that didn't stop people from buying the PS3.)

2. No mandaotry 24 hour internet check thing. (This probaly isn't a big deal to most people on TTG, they just want to find a reason to complain about the Xbox One. For some people I can see it being a dealbreaker though.)

3. No used games restriction.

I only buy new games, and I don't rent or borrow any games so this isn't a big deal to me either. But to some people, it's probably a dealbreaker.

It also has more raw power and it's $100 cheaper ans a bit smaller.

Don't forget guys, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I'll be getting the xbox one, and over here, it's only a $50 difference, close competition down under.

its $100 cheaper without a bundle though so its basically the same price with what your getting because your getting the Kinect with it

most likely if you are on this website and or are planning on getting a next-gen console you will be able to connect to the internet

the used game restrictions can be changed in a split second
and don't quote me on this but didn't ms say that it is up to the developers to decide what they are going to do with used game restrictions

honestly I really didn't see much of the excitement that everyone else is getting into I think they all are jumping the gun here

1. $100 is not a big deal if you are getting more community based things. and itll last longer since red ring is no issue anymore

2. this is still being consider so it might be removed. and this also keeps the xbox one safer and more secure. unlike the PS3 credit card attack.

3. Microsoft has already announced you can use used games

please and thank you.

For one 100$ more that can be the difference in being able to pay your rent that month not many kids are going to have 500$ sitting around to buy it and this economy isnt the best so I can see alot going the cheap way and buying a PS4 for nextgeneration games.

For your 2nd thing ya your right its still not released yet could be removed but if it stays there goes all the gamers that dont want to or cant connect there consoles to the internet.

Ehh doesnt the used games have to go thorough some process to be able to be used by another console not sure not going to back myself up on this one.

Fine than that is what came to my mind when I thought of 100$ but lets say that money you could use on an extra controller and maybe a game or if your just getting on the sony side of things the PS+ membership thing needed to play online good thing I still have me membership on PS+ running figured they would make us pay for online eventually lol.
