The razer blade is overpriced for it's specs, even in gaming laptop prices.
I personally have a sager NP8170, and I love it. It's extremely easy to pack up, and bring anywhere I want. Even with a hot running card, I can still play games at max settings with no issue to keeping the heat down.
ASUS, and MSI are good desktop replacement companies as well.

All it really seems you're paying for is the name and slimness. If slimness isn't an issue there are probably better alternatives.
The ASUSG75 would suit your needs fine and it's like $1300 or so.

The Razer Blade is overpriced. Just like MacBooks, you pay for the brand instead of just the specs.
Try looking into MSI laptops.

Razer Blade wins on looks
Razer Blade wins on price
Sager wins on specs?
Sager wins on specs hands down, and they are more customizable compared to the Razer blade.
It all comes down to what specs you want in it, and if the design is a big factor.
Some of the newer sager models are a little more flashy, but they aren't as sleek as the razer blade refresh.
