you can downgrade it back down to 6.1.4 or whatever it is. And i dont think it expires til late july

It expires shortly after ios 7 beta 2 is released. Because there is no set date for ios 7 beta 2 I cannot tell you the date it will expire but I believe it will expire in late July.

I have heard July 24th. That is not official but I would guess it is sometime around then

But if i upgrade now mi iphone to ios7, what happens if next week it comes out the beta 2, my iphone 5 will get bricked?

No. I believe you will only get bricked if you fail to update before the first beta expires.

Lets say IF July 24th was the official date that the beta 1 expired and the second beta came out July 10th.

You would have until July 24th to either upgrade your phone to iOS 7 beta 2 or downgrade it back to iOS 6.

What device are you on? Because iOS 7 is so laggy on the iPhone 4. If you have a later device than that then go for it. It looks SWEET!
